Personal Training – Boxing

It’s one of the few sports that uses both anaerobic and aerobic components. Besides burning lots of calories, boxing will give you a solid foundation in balance, stability, strength, muscular endurance, and stress relief. Rotational sports such as golf, baseball, hockey and tennis all rely on balance, stability and power through the use of fast twitch rotational muscles. Boxing is a great cross training activity for these sports, weight loss and general fitness. A must try by all fitness lovers including both kids and adults.

 


Personal Training – Youth Training Programs

IMG_0092NBF is now offering youth personal training. We’re providing our usual training services to younger clients.  However we’re taking it one step further by providing educational training and conditioning for sports, confidence, motivation and general fitness. Youth training helps younger clients create awareness of the body’s complex movement patterns, increase the body’s inner foundation of strength…the core, and strengthen posture associated muscles to help decrease the onset of poor posture, which may occur from heavy back packs and to much time on the computer. The earlier we train our youth to be body aware, the more likely they are to develop a strong foundation and understanding for the importance of healthy lifestyles. The earlier they learn the amazing benefits of being active, the healthier they will become.

 


Sparring Sessions

This service is perfect for clients who are preparing for a fight or want to work with an experienced fighter to improve your boxing skills. Learning the sweet science takes patients, dedication and knowledge of the sport. Sparring will help to put your skills together, as well as cleaning up bad habits. These sessions are very technical ands not meant to discourage. Its meant to help you become aware of the complexities of boxing in a fun and controlled manor.
